                                  One of Sri Lanka's most important religious festivals is the Kandy Perahera or Esala Perahera. Since the introduction of Buddha's tooth relic to Sri Lanka, the Perahera has been held each year. The Kandy Perahera is a beautiful procession or parade that showcases the Kandyan people's many talents.            The whip crackers announce the start of the parade.The flag bearers, who carry the banners of the country's various regions and provinces, then follow suit. The elephant march and seeing Sri Lankan drummers perform are two of the most thrilling experiences. Drumming is a 2500-year-old tradition in Sri Lanka.                                  Madolduwa                              I have read many books but my favorite book is ' MADOLDUWA '. It is a novel. Madolduwa was written  by famous writer , Martin Wickramasinghe .Madolduwa is  an adventure story. This book has been translated in to several languages. The main characters of the book are Upali Giniwell and Jinna. Upali is a poor motherless child. His mother died when he was seven years old and he was looked after by his stepmother . Upali is an intelligent boy . He doesn't like learning but he is an orphan . At he last runs away with his servant jinna and cultivates in an island .They work hard and get a good result harvest and become rich .They help the family.   My village is  Rikillagsakada . It belongs to the Nuwara Eliya district. It is very beautiful village . my village is surrounded by a beautiful mountain range . A river flows through my village .My village is a crowded . spread over a small aria .                                                                                                The mane livelihood of the villages is farming .  The people of my village live in harmony .The district base hospital is located in my village .  There are several schools in my village .                               My father  is the real hero of my life , so he is most special person in the world to me. I love spending time with him.He is a loving father and the kindest person I have ever seen in my life .He tries his best to keep me happy  whenever I am sad . He is an extremely loving father . I often enjoy spending time with him and learning a lot from him.                  My father tries his best to keep our family👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 .He works hard to  earn money for it.I always thank god for giving me such a loving and caring father .                                 The environment is a valuable companion found in natural life .It is very important for human existence and the existence of the earth. It is important to keep in mind that environment is very important to us if life is to survive on earth. SO we do not destroy the environment .We need to educate people to protect the environment.      We can protect the environment by planting trees in our backyard or in a public place where there is space.This is a noble act to protect the environment.The world environment day is set for  5th of  July to increase interest in such activities.                     The greatest gift of mother nature is the environment.So it is our responsibility as human beings to protect environment.
